Qaidam Circular Economy Pilot Zone

One of China's first 13 circular-economy pilots (Oct 2005); the largest of its kind at 256,000 km² and the only one in a Tibetan-plateau ethnic region. "One zone, four parks": Golmud, Delingha, Da Qaidam and Ulan, anchored by the Qarhan and Kunlun hundred-billion-yuan industrial bases.
